About this work
Jacob, in a bed under a canopy, makes a blessing gesture with his right hand. His twelve sons stand and kneel around his bed. On the right wall stand probably Ephraim and Manasseh, the two sons of Joseph. On the right a woman sitting at a table. Below a reference to Gen. 49:1-28 and the title of the print in Hebrew, French, German, Latin, English and Dutch.
