Two women walking along a balustrade, with a lake in the background. Left: 'toilette' of grey wool and striped wool in grey and light grey. Bodice with overlap at the neck, open at the bottom on a vertically striped vest. Matching hat and parasol. Right: 'toilette' of gold-yellow faille embroidered with chenille and matching passementerie. 'Tunique princesse' of plain faille; bodice with closure on the left side via four 'agrafes'. V-shaped plastron with same embroidery as the skirt. Below the image, a line of advertising text for various products. Print from the fashion magazine *Revue de la Mode* (1872–1913). Detailed description of the clothing on pages 299 and 300 "PLANCHE COLORIÉE".
