About this work
Monument commemorating the stadtholdership in the Netherlands, probably on the occasion of the death of William V in 1806. On top of the monument statues of six stadtholders from William I to William IV. On the monument depictions of historical events. In the center of the gate the tomb monument of Frederick (died in 1799). Around it portraits of William V and his wife Wilhelmina, son William I Frederick with his wife Wilhelmina, his daughter Louise with her husband Charles. Bottom right 'Proof print'.
