About this work

A robber attacks a traveler who has no money. The traveler promises to bring ten pounds the next day. The robber agrees and the traveler continues his way. Not long after, the traveler returns with ten pounds. He found them on the way and asks the robber if he perhaps lost them. The robber has not lost any money and refuses to accept the ten pounds. Numbered in the upper right: 10.
