Allegory on the Peace of Westminster with England on 19 February 1674, which put an end to the Third Anglo-Dutch War. Centrally the Dutch Maiden with the subdued French god of war at her feet, left the defeated weapons of the bishops of Münster and Cologne. Left the Spanish negotiator Marquis del Fresno at the secretary Coventry at Whitehall, right the personification of the Restoration of the Stadtholdership. In the background the English and Dutch fleets with peace flags. In the sky Mercury with the peace treaty and the angels Ephraim and Manasse.
