About this work
Diana discovers that Callisto, one of her nymphs, is pregnant by Jupiter. She points accusingly at Callisto, whose clothes are being pulled off by the nymphs. In the margin, a four-line inscription in two columns in Latin, which actually belongs to the print of Alcmene giving birth to Hercules.
