About this work
The count, who caught his wife and Silvertongue in a brothel, has been stabbed by Silvertongue. He leans against a table and his sword falls to the ground. In front of him kneels his crying wife with folded hands. To the front right lie masks and a paper stating 'The Bagnio'. Silvertongue flees out the window to the right.
