A peasant man and a peasant woman, both with a wicker basket on their back, resting by the side of a road. The peasant man takes a bottle, the peasant woman takes a bowl. This print is part of a series of 16 prints (15 according to Lieure; 17 or 16 including title print) with men and women in various poses. These prints may have been intended as drawing models.
