About this work

Greeting letter with an inscribed cartouche within a decorative frame depicting a river with a towpath boat. In small medallions scenes of people skating and sledding, people in the rain, and a walking family. Handwritten message in calligraphy (New Year's letter) by Jantje Duives to his grandmother and aunts. Numbered top right: No. 4.
