About this work
The Crucifixion of Christ on Golgotha. Christ hangs on the cross, with the two thieves being crucified to his left and right. Longinus is about to thrust his lance into Christ's side. A group of men on horses and donkeys looks on. The Marys and John mourn beneath the cross. Text in Latin in the lower margin.
