The Vineyard of Naboth: The Tenth Commandment

King Ahab of Samaria asks Naboth the price for his vineyard. However, Naboth does not want to sell his property, whereupon Ahab has him stoned (1 Kings 21:1-29). In the background the Prophet Elijah tells Ahab that he will be punished by God because he violated the tenth Commandment: "You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor". The offspring of Ahab will die wherever Naboth died and be devoured by dogs. In the margin a two-line inscription in Latin.
