About this work

Image of the golden cup presented to Cornelis de Witt by the States of Holland and the States of West-Friesland for his part in the Raid on Chatham in 1667. On the cup an image of the Raid on Chatham where the English fleet was destroyed. On the lid the Dutch coat of arms with the Lion of Holland.
