About this work
Statue of a bacchante, dressed in classical drapery, standing with her arms raised and in her left hand a bunch of grapes. Her left elbow rests on a tree trunk, which is wrapped with vine leaves, bunches of grapes and a snake. In the lower centre on the base the coat of arms of Vincenzo Giustiniani. Print from a series after the sculptures in the collection of the Galleria Giustiniani, Rome.
