About this work

Dietrich Coelde of Munster, also known as Theodoricus, dressed in a monk's habit, with in one hand a bell, in the other hand a monstrance. Hanging from the cord around his waist is a lantern. In the background the town hall of Brussels, before which Dietrich Coelde distributes the Eucharist to plague victims. At the bottom in the margin an eight-line text in Latin.
