About this work
The tongue of Saint Livinus is torn out. An executioner with a sword holds him by the beard, another man holds the tongs with the tongue. To the rear right three soldiers. On the ground lie Livinus' staff, mitre, and a book. To the left in the background a woman and child and a man with a sword.
