Departure of the Spanish garrison from Huis te Gennep on 29 July 1641, after the siege and capture of Huis te Gennep by the States army under Frederick Henry from 6 June to 27 July 1641. On the left spectators watch the departing procession of wagons and cannons. On the right a man with a wooden leg sits on the ground. At the top a four-line text in Latin.
