About this work
Four representations. Top left: a believer walks on a road together with a lamb that carries a cross, the symbol for Christ. He humbly turns away from Pride, who wants to reach out his hand to him. Top right: a human stands before the choice between good and evil. The eye of God looks down on him and illuminates him, but the prince of the World pulls at his cloak and the devil sits as a snake in the tree. Bottom left: two people stand before the choice to choose the broad road to hell or the narrow road to heaven. Bottom right: the Last Judgment with Christ on the rainbow and the resurrection of the dead.
