About this work

Healing on the Sabbath. Christ heals a man who has been sick for thirty-eight years at the pool of Bethesda (Bethzatha). The man sits in the colonnade by the pool of Bethzatha on the ground. Christ stands beside him. In front of the entrance to the pool many people wait to go inside. Below the image a Latin verse from John 5.
