About this work
Landscape with Christ in the middle. To the left of Christ stands a prison. John the Baptist hears about the appearance of Christ there. He sends two of his disciples to him with the question whether he is the Messiah. Christ asks them to be witnesses of his miracles (Matthew 11:2).
