About this work
Lady, standing in landscape, seen from the front, slightly turned to the right, dressed according to fashion of 1615-1625. She wears a winged costume with decorative sleeves and flat shoulder pads. The sleeves are trimmed with wide projecting ruff cuffs. Around her neck a wide pleated collar (ruff collar). In her left hand she holds a half-open circular fan; the right hand in the side. Flower decoration in the hair. In the background on the left a country house.
