About this work
Lucretia commits suicide by stabbing herself with a dagger, because she can no longer bear the shame after the rape by Sextus. Her naked body lies on the ground next to her bed. Her husband Collatinus runs towards her. In the lower margin two columns with each two lines of Latin text.
