About this work
Mary sits on a throne with the Christ child on her lap. Both hold a rosary in their hand. Before the throne kneel Saint Dominic and Saint Catherine of Siena and other clerics. The image is surrounded by a border with fifteen small scenes from the lives of Christ and Mary, each with an inscription in Latin on a scroll. In the center below, a coat of arms and dedication in Latin.
