Ornamental border with a panel at the top containing eight Italian verses. Below, a scene from Canto IX of Tasso's 'Jerusalem Delivered'. A tangle of fighting soldiers on horseback. On the ground lie dead horses and soldiers. In the background, the Archangel Michael hovers over Jerusalem and drives away demons.
