About this work

Three scenes with Amor and Psyche depicted in one room. In the middle, Amor lies sleeping in bed. Psyche sits on the edge of the bed and holds an oil lamp above Amor. On the right, Psyche sits with the quiver of Amor. On the left, Psyche stands, grabbing Amor by the leg as he flies out the window. Italian text in two cartouches in the lower margin. Numbered bottom left: 13.
