About this work

Venus arrives in her chariot drawn by doves. In the middle sits Jupiter with an eagle, and next to him Mercury with a caduceus. On the left, Mercury on the way and Mercury in conversation with Venus. Italian text in two cartouches in the lower margin. Numbered bottom left: 18 (twice).
