About this work

Jews proceed to the temple for the Sabbath celebration. Around this central scene stand ten medallions with various representations relating to the Mishnah. At the very bottom an image of the pilgrimages to Jerusalem for the celebration of the three high feasts (Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot) and the bringing of offerings in the Temple there. All representations are provided with a Hebrew inscription.
