About this work
The old and blind Isaac lies in a bed and blesses his son Jacob. Behind Jacob, who is kneeling beside the bed, stands his mother Rebekah. Through the window the firstborn son Esau is visible with bow and arrow hunting for game. In the margin above the image is the text Genesis XXVII.
