John, standing full-length, a chalice in his hand from which a dragon-like creature flies up. In the background on the left, John on the island of Patmos; in the background on the right, John in a pot of boiling oil. This print is part of a series of 16 prints, consisting of a title page and 15 portraits, depicting Christ, Mary and the apostles.
