About this work

Representation of a crown held in the air by a cherub's head, above a laurel wreath held by two hands. Latin and French texts in letterpress above and below this print. This sheet is part of the emblem series 'Life of Mary in Emblems'. The first state of this series comprises, in addition to a title page and 26 emblems, three sheets with hymns to Mary in letterpress without images.
