About this work

Portrait of Maurits, Prince of Orange, standing in an interior with marshal's baton in right hand. To the right a view through, possibly the interior of the Ridderzaal. Below the portrait name and titles in Latin. Attached to the print is a document dated 8 April 1625, in which Jacob Goossens Sondergelt is ordered to take his garrison from Heusden to the Fort Crèvecoeur. The letter bears the signature and seal of the Prince of Orange.
