About this work

Five medallions with scenes from the tragedy Gijsbrecht van Aemstel written by Joost van den Vondel and performed in the new theatre on the Leidsplein in Amsterdam. Around the centrally placed medallion are four of smaller size grouped. The medallions are numbered from I to V and connected to each other with ribbons.
