About this work

Sheet with two depictions of the sacraments among the Reformed. Top: A married couple presents their child for baptism. The minister, standing at the bottom of the pulpit, sprinkles water over the baby's head. Bottom: In a Dutch Reformed Church, the Lord's Supper is celebrated. After the men have gone to the Lord's Supper, the women now sit around the table to receive it. In the middle, the minister passes the cup of wine to both sides.
