About this work

Sheet with four scenes of incarnations from Hinduism. The Indian god Vishnu comes to earth ten times, in ten different forms, to save the world. Here represented respectively the fifth to the eighth incarnations: Vamana, Parasurama, Rama, and Krishna. Below each scene, a caption in French. Numbered in the top right: 102.
