About this work

Vignette with the portrait of the personified Truth in an architectural frame in which an open book and two globes are incorporated. Truth holds a mirror and a branch with leaves in her hands, on her breast the sun is depicted in the form of a radiant disc. The print is part of a series of book illustrations on virtues and vices.
