About this work

Shortly before his death Jacob blesses the sons of his son Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim. Jacob crosses his hands in the blessing and blesses Ephraim with his right hand and Manasseh with his left hand. Joseph tries in vain to move Jacob's arms.
