About this work
The rich man sits at a banquet. Around him noble gentlemen and ladies. Musicians play music. In the foreground lies the poor Lazarus begging. Two dogs lick his wounds. In the background Lazarus is driven away under the threat of blows. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series on the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
