About this work

The rich man lies in a bed, surrounded by doctors, priests, and weeping women. Two devils stand next to his bed. In the background two devils fly with the soul of the rich man towards the depths of hell. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series on the parable of the rich man and Lazarus.
