About this work
A soldier, full-length, facing right, holding a spear (lance) upright with both hands in front of him, high above the ground. This is the first movement for lowering the spear upright to the ground. This print is part of the series of 32 numbered prints of spear-bearers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
