About this work
A soldier, full-length, carrying a spear (lance) horizontally at shoulder height with both hands, his right hand at the butt of the weapon. This is the third movement for lowering the spear to pass under an overhang. This print is part of the series of 32 numbered prints of spear-bearers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
