About this work
An outdoor kitchen where, to the left, a woman stands by a pot over the fire. Next to her, a long table where a man slices pieces of sausage. To the left, Christ enters with his disciples. He is welcomed by Martha and Mary. In the background, a water well. The print has an inscription with a Bible text (Luke 10) and is the first print of a three-part series.
