About this work

Two lions hold up banners and the family coat of arms of the Italian field marshal Don Andrea Cantelmo. On top of the crowned coat of arms sits an eagle. The inscription, in a cartouche, is flanked by two harpies and cannons. In a cartouche at the bottom, a river god and a nymph with the city of Antwerp in the background.
