About this work
The third article of faith: the belief in the birth of Christ. Some shepherds kneel before the manger with the Christ Child. Two angels next to the manger. In the background on the left the Annunciation and in the background on the right the Annunciation to the Shepherds. The print has a Latin inscription with a Bible quote referring to the depicted Bible story and a Latin caption on the Apostles' Creed. The third print in a twelve-part series on the Creed.
