About this work

The apostles Peter, John and Philip travel to Samaria and heal sick and possessed there. In the foreground the three lay their hands on believers. Through the laying on of hands of the apostles they are filled with the Holy Spirit. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a 34-part series with the subject the Acts of the Apostles.
