About this work
The apostles Peter, John, and Philip go to Samaria and heal the sick and cast out demons there. In the foreground, the three lay their hands on believers. Through the laying on of hands by the apostles, they are filled with the Holy Spirit, which descends in the form of a dove. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the Bible text in Acts 8:14. This print is part of an album.
