The apostles Peter, John, and Philip go to Samaria and heal the sick and the possessed there. In the foreground, the three lay their hands on believers. Through the laying on of hands by the apostles, they are filled with the Holy Spirit, which descends in the form of a dove. Below the scene, a Latin reference to the Biblical text in Acts 8:14.
