About this work
On a plinth with a projecting central risalit stands a double-ordered wall, decorated with figures and grotesques, on either side of a niche. In the niche a sarcophagus on a pedestal, carried by three caryatids. On the lid sits a woman with a tablet. In the middle below in a cartouche: BEATI QUI IN / DOMINI MORI / UNTUR. Belongs to a series consisting of a title page, a text page and 14 sheets with grotesques with scrollwork, satyrs, garlands, trophies, animals and fantasy creatures.
