About this work
Freestanding tomb monument. On the overhanging lid of a sarcophagus, supported by caryatids, lies the deceased prince. With inscription on the tomb monument (under the lid) CONSTITVISTI TERMINOS ....ANTE TRIBVNAL CHRISTI (on the basement). Belongs to a series consisting of a title page, a text page and 14 sheets with grotesques with scrollwork, satyrs, garlands, trophies, animals and fantasy creatures.
