About this work
Philip speaks with the eunuch whom he meets on the road from Jerusalem and Gaza. As treasurer of the queen of Ethiopia, the eunuch rides in a beautiful carriage. Philip converts the eunuch to Christianity and baptizes him in a river. Subsequently he is taken away by an angel. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a 34-part series with the subject the Acts of the Apostles.
