About this work
Philip speaks with the eunuch he meets on the road from Jerusalem to Gaza. As treasurer of the Queen of Ethiopia, the eunuch rides in a fine carriage. Philip travels with the eunuch to explain a text from the prophet Isaiah and tells him about Christ. When the eunuch wishes to be baptized, Philip baptizes him in a river. Then he is taken away by an angel. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the Bible text in Acts 8:38. This print is part of an album.
