About this work
The apostle Peter, praying in his room, receives a vision. In the sky appears a large sheet, in which various animals of the world are found. This vision was symbolic, a sign of God that even non-Jews were created by God to receive Christ's message. In the background the messengers of the Roman centurion Cornelius arrive at Peter's house. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a 34-part series on the Acts of the Apostles.
